Its a busy and exciting time behind the scenes here at Nickel, we are busy working away bringing together our vision for our new 'social' retail enterprise. Work on the shop and website are already underway and we hope to remain on track to relaunch mid December with our website following in January. We are also busy connecting with lots of other fantastic social enterprises up and down the country building partnerships and planning stock purchases.
As many of you will know we have been selling our jams and chutneys through the online store ‘Promise in Store’ for the past few years now. Over this time we have built a great relationship with the wonderful Sue Prisk, the company director and founder. We have the same ethos, vision and passion for helping adults with learning disabilities to have a more fulfilled and purposeful life.
‘Promise in Store’ source and sell beautiful gifts and household goods produced by partners who share their mission to support people with learning difficulties, disabilities or life challenges.
We are thrilled to announce that, as we relaunch ‘Interestingly Different’ as a social gift and homeware store, ‘Promise in Store’ will be joining us, bringing with them all the fantastic social enterprises they have partnered with over the years. This, coupled with their wealth of knowledge and experience gained over the years of running ‘Promise in Store’, is a fantastic opportunity. We can't wait to welcome them to the Nickel family.
From January 2023 you will find their range (and so much more!) on the Interestingly Different website and in our shop.
In the meantime please consider Promise in Store for your Christmas gifts, they have a beautiful selection of gifts including our jams and chutneys, you can buy from their website until the 31st December.
To be the first to hear when our website goes live please take a second to sign up to our Interestingly Different newsletter.
